First, I loved all the Devil’s Rock previous books. So I was really excited to read the newest one. I knew from the first chapters, when I started the “skim”, this book wasn’t doing it for me. I didn’t feel any connection between Gabby and Cruz other than sex. I didn’t like Gabby at all and Cruz was ok. I felt like his character wasn’t fully developed. Their story, well, it was just boring! No excitement at all. Then enters a part about Gabby’s gay teenage nephew...so pointless.

This was a great series, made me a Sophie Jordan fan. Now I need to read her historical fiction books!
Another excellent story by this author. As always well written and characters very real and believable. And best of all I realized I somehow missed a book and now get to read another!
I think that Cruz Walsh has officially made my “book boyfriend” list. This was definitely my favorite Devils Rock book so far! Fingers crossed that she keeps adding to this series!
Fun read. If you liked the other books in the series, you will like this. However, it’s not as good as Knox and North’s stories. And, in fact, a few scenes from those books are repeated almost verbatim here.

Still, for a contemporary romance, which I find almost universally bad, this book (and series) is a winner.
I loved this book. I finished it in less than 24 hours. The characters were beautifully written and had a real emotional connection. I enjoyed the theme of the long-lost crush from high school. For those well-read romance readers, the book seems to be a cross of Never Sweeter and Vixen and the Vet, both of which are great reads, as well. I wonder if they provided some inspiration for this book. This is one of my favorite Sophie Jordan books. Definitely get it!
I really liked this book. I thought it a fitting end to the series, although I feel like too much of the book was focused on Gabriella’s weight. It also seems a little unrealistic the relatively small amount of time they spent together before falling in love. I was also hoping that since Cruz had no close friends to confide in, we could have seen him with North and maybe caught up with North and Faith.
If you had asked me yesterday who was my favorite convict from Sophie Jordan's Devil Rock series, i would have said Reid Allister, but he just got replaced by Cruz Walsh 😍 This book was everything I expected from a Sophie Jordan novel and left me wanting to reread the others in the series.

Beautiful Sinner by Sophie Jordan was a fantastic convict romance novel. If you like a curvy leading lady and a dirty talking male, this one is for you !
