I loved it! Kristin shares her story in such a real, relatable manner. As the mother of a son with speech issues and the older sister of identical twins - I could relate to much of her story. Her candor will help mothers in all stages realize they are not alone in their day-to-day struggles. Kristin does a beautiful job of blending the pain and the struggle with humor! My heart hurt and then a few pages later I was trying not to wake my sleeping husband with my laughter. I can't wait to share this book with my friends and family!Product details

It was a great look at being a wife and a mother - and sometimes says what most of us think but won't say. You laugh, you cry! Whether you're a parent or not, you can relate to the family dynamics!
I found myself getting wrapped up in the moments Kristin shared in Twin Turbulence. Whether it was tears, laughter, embarrassment, joy or frustration... I felt like I was right there with her. I had always wondered what it would be like to have twins, and this seems like it's a pretty close look at all the details you could never possibly think of unless you are in the thick of it. Kristin's writing flows straight from her heart in recounting all of the little details that are so often forgotten in the chaos of a family of 5. Makes me think I should start doing a better job of recording the day to day stuff so I don't forget it when my little one is older.
Amazing book that captures the essence of being a mother of twins. It made me laugh and cry. Kristin tells it like it is and that kind of honestly is refreshing. I have found myself echoing the same feelings with my own identical twin girls. My personal mother of multiples handbook that makes me feel like "this is normal" and "it is going to be okay" and finally "it is so worth it". It's like Kristin has been in my house taking notes and put it all down in a book for all to enjoy. Being a mother of multiples (or just a mother in general) is not all unicorns and rainbows and this book gets to the core of the good, the bad, and the hilarious of it all.
Great read for all parents, I was unable to put the book down. It was written with compassion and honesty.
Gave it as an Xmas gift. I know the author and she is deserving of 5 Stars.
Through friends on FB I found out about this book. I wanted to let everyone know how much I enjoyed it! I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter and 1 1/2 year old identical twin sons. I laughed and cried through out this book as I feel so many of the same things that were talking about. Everyone can relate to this story but mothers like me who are dealing with the rough road of young twins and other siblings will really relate! The honesty made me feel normal and helped me to regain my energy to deal with the chaos that is my life. Great book for giving yourself a break or when you have a mommy moment!
This was a humorous and very real story of a family's journey through cancer and the birth and early childhood of parenting twins. Kristin's writing voice is genuine, funny, vulnerable and very readable. She engages the reader right from the first story she shares. I found myself laughing, crying, and remembering along with her as I read. The book is so relatable that you will connect with it and walk away with a fresh perspective and encouragement to find the humor, beauty and silver lining in your trials.
